Unifiber launches SDM C100 racing masts

Noticing the demand on reliable racing masts encouraged Unifiber to develop a serie of racing masts for a wide variety of sail brands. Most sail brands claim to develop exclusive racing masts for their most prestige sails. Looking to what is available on the market today it seems that the differences among most important sails brands are not as big as they tend to say it is. We have done various tests with several important sailbrands and we came till the conclusion that our masts are really working well, partically with 2 of the well established sail brands. Our carefully selected bend curve (flex distribution bottom 63.4% / top 76.8%) ensured a very nice twist distribution.

Please click here to found out which lenghths are available.

Unifiber fin selector

This fin selector is developed to give a fin length advice which is related to a certain board with and sail size combination. For example: for a 65 cm wide board and a 6.7 sail you could use a fin between 33 and 37 cm. This advice can be used for Slalom, Race and Freeride boards which will be used with race and freeride sails. The type of fin can be slalom / speed race or freeride.....

After not competing in international slalom races for about 10 years. I thought I d give slalom racing a try to see what will come up. After some practise times on the Blades I prepared for the pwa grand slam in pozo and fuerte. It was a super experience to sail amoung the best of the best in Pozo. With winds blowing 30 to over 45 knots in Pozo. I was using the Loft Blade 5.1 and 5.6 the most with Unifiber extensions and booms.....
