We make all Unifiber masts using the latest Pre-Impregnated (Pre Preg) Carbon Molding Techniques – even the lower (C40) carbon content models. For the perfect balance of weight to strength there’s simply no better method.
Plus, we’re leading the way by offering both SDM and RDM models in all sizes with a choice of 3 bend curves to suit any sail possible. (Hard Top, Constant Curve and Flex Top).
With precise layers of choice carbon content, our Pre Preg masts can boast accurate ratios of carbon:resin for consistent quality that wet lay-up processes just can’t achieve.
Thanks to a unique controlled curing and heating technique, we guarantee exact stiffness, precise bend curves and dependable performance on the water.
For 2011 we’ve also slimmed-down the diameters of SDM models for added feel, performance, and compatibility with all camber induced sails.
The Reduced Diameter Range (RDM) boasts added wall thickness and extra peace-of-mind for just a few extra grams.
We also give a comprehensive 1-yr warranty and finish all RDM masts with high-tech silver UV-resistant Alutex cloth - and the same heat-reflective effect in SDM boom cutout areas.
