The Rookie is built specifically for young windsurfers. A lightweight monofilm sail designed to give kids the stability and simplicity they need to enjoy every stage of learning.

The Rookie's monofilm construction keeps weight to a minimum — making it genuinely easier for small riders to handle, recover, and keep going session after session. Light enough to lift, light enough to control, and light enough to stay manageable as the wind builds. Smaller sizes (1.0–2.5 m²) come with a lightweight aluminium mast, with an epoxy option available for added strength and smoother handling as skills develop.

Stable and predictable in the hands

Each sail is 3D-shaped with a deep profile in the lower sections, creating a balanced, steady feel that makes steering and trimming straightforward. Even as the wind picks up, the Rookie stays predictable — so young riders can focus on developing their skills rather than managing the rig.

Easy to spot, safe on the water

Bright colours make it easy to keep track of young riders on the water. Clear monofilm windows improve visibility in both directions — the child can see where they're going, and instructors and parents can see them.
