The top part of Baseplate Tendon Joint Cardan HD (U-Pin) V2.
Its cardan hinge allows effortless sail attachment on the beach or in the water, eliminating the need to flip the board or bend the tendon manually.
At the centre, a high-quality TPU tendon is secured with two large-diameter custom bolts, designed for easy replacement and to prevent over-torquing.
All metal components are made from stainless steel, ensuring a solid connection and long-lasting durability.
For added safety, the parts are connected with a Spectra safety rope, capable of withstanding up to 650 kg of a breakload.
The cardan hinge design is particularly suitable for wind foilers, beginners, and inflatable windsurfing boards. It simplifies rigging and reduces strain on components. However, the tendon may deform slightly when used in combination with high-performance rigs.
