Vector Quad Pro kitelines 4x30m 270/270kg white/red/grey
UNMATCHED STRENGTH AND DURABILITY
Crafted from premium Dyneema® fiber, Vector Quad Pro kitelines deliver extraordinary performance where it matters most. These molecular marvels are up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and 40% stronger than aramid fibers on a weight-for-weight basis. When your safety and performance depend on reliable equipment, Vector kitelines provide the confidence to push boundaries.
PROFESSIONAL-GRADE CONSTRUCTION
Our Quad Pro 270/270kg lines are specifically engineered for the demands of powerkiting and advanced sport flying where you need:
- Optimized Strength: 270kg breaking strength for both top and brake lines
- Perfect Balance: Four precisely matched 30-meter lines for optimal control
- Color-Coded Design: White/red/grey tri-color scheme for instant line identification
- Consistent Performance: Each line is pre-stretched to maintain equal length and tension throughout its lifespan
ADVANCED PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY
Vector's special PU (Polyurethane) coating system creates kitelines that withstand the harshest kiting environments:
- Weather-Resistant: Superior protection against UV radiation, temperature changes, sand, salt, and water
- Abrasion-Resistant: Exceptional durability against friction, folding, bending, and peak loading
- Smooth Operation: Maintains control even when lines are twisted
- Low Drag: Thinner diameter lines with minimal wind resistance for better performance in light winds
DIRECT FEEL, OPTIMAL CONTROL
Vector Quad Pro lines establish a direct connection between you and your kite, delivering:
- Immediate Response: Minimal stretch means less delay in steering
- Direct Bar Feeling: Feel every movement of your kite with precision
- Reduced Drag: Thinner lines cut through air with minimal resistance
- Consistent Performance: Stitched loops guarantee strong connections that prevent tangles
COMPATIBILITY
Our compatibility chart confirms Vector kitelines work perfectly with most major kite brands using a Normal V split and equal line lengths, including:
- Airush, Cabrinha, Eleveight, Harlem, Lacuna, Naish, Nobile, North KB, Ocean Rodeo, Ozone, RRD, Slingshot, Switch, Takoon, Ten, Vantage, and Zeeko
Not compatible with Core, Duotone, and F-one (which use High Y splits with unequal lines).

Vector kitelines are made of Dyneema® fiber, these extremely long molecular chains are up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers,
VECTOR Dyneema kitelines are incredibly strong for their low diameter and therefore perfectly suitable for all types of steerable kites, from sportkite to kitesurf kite, VECTOR kitelines offer maximum strength in the thinnest line out there.
After the braiding process the lines are coloured and coated with PolyUrethane. Besides providing the line with maximum protection, this also allows kitefliers to see at a glance which lines are top and bottom, right and left; this is particularly useful with four line kites.
There is nothing worse than having stretched lines and a less performing kite after a few sessions. Every line is therefore pre-stretched to create a more reliable and durable line.
The minimal amount of stretch in VECTOR lines allows users to really feel the direct connection with the kite, while having extremely precise control over the kite and improved steering. Thanks to VECTOR lines' strenght, kite lines can be thinner, minimizing drag (wind resistance) and allowing kite flyers to fly in lighter winds. With VECTOR lines you can enjoy all the thrills of this extreme sport, confidently that you have made the best choice in lines.
Keep on going, even if your lines are twisted.
VECTOR lines extraordinary strength means there is less risk of a line breaking; and because it is so smooth, when lines twist you don't feel the difference. With sport kites your lines are entangled most of the tiem and must be capable of sliding over each other constantly and consistently. Smooth lines are even more important for team flying and four line kites.
VECTOR lines can be used straight out of the package. The lines are pre-stretched, of equal length and sleeved for your convenience. Vector colour dual line sets are finished with knotted sleeves which make it easy to make length adjustments if neccesary. The Quad Pro line sets are finished with stitched loops that guarantee a strong connection, these smooth connections also prevent line tangles and are drag efficient.

Kiteboarding Line Requirements
Top Lines: Vector Quad Pro 300kg to 500kg
Brake Lines: Vector Quad Pro 300-375kg
Kiteboarding requires the strongest lines due to extreme wind conditions and high power loads. For safety and optimal control, use lines rated 300kg minimum. Brake lines can be lighter than top lines as they primarily need stiffness rather than maximum strength, since power transfers mainly through top lines.

Landboarding and Snowkiting
Vector Quad Pro 300kg to 375kg lines for top lines and 300-375kg for brake lines.
Both Landboarding and Snowkiting involves jumping and flying. To fly safe and be have optimal control over your kite, we recommend to use lines 300kg+

Sport / Trick Flying
Vector Dual colour lines and Vector Quad Pro 50kg to 100kg lines
Which line strength you should use depends on a number of factors. Ideally one would use multiple line-sets for the same kite for different wind speeds to get the best possible performance.
You can imagine that a 2m 4-line foilkite flies great in 20 knots on 200kg steering lines, but fly that same kite with the same lines in 10 knots and you will notice that the lines sag, making steering less responsive.

Powerkiting
Vector Dual colour lines and Vector Quad Pro 150kg to 200kg lines for top lines and 75-100kg for brake lines.
For powerkiting, it all depends on the size of the kite. Small kites only need 100kg lines while bigger powerkites require lines up to 200kg.
Also keep line lenght in mind: Line lenght is very much preferential, the rule of thumb is: Shorter lines make steering more direct with the sacrifice of low end performance and long lines give the kite a better low end at the sacrifice of kite responsiveness.

Kite Buggy
Vector Quad Pro 150kg to 300kg lines for top lines and 75-100kg for brake lines.
Buggy lines are mostly heavier do to the size of the kite. Therefore, a line strenght of around 200 kg is preferred.
Even pilot skill and riding style comes in to play when we look at buggy racers, smooth technical racers will use 200 to 250kg steering lines where heavier and/or more aggressive racers will use 300kg lines or even stronger.
Generally, high winds and/or heavier pilots require stronger lines.
