The board do not come wiht Baseplate.
- Use a Cardan type baseplate for our Iwindsurf boards.
Board construction directly affects stiffness, weight, and durability. Stiffness is crucial as rigid boards generate significantly less drag than flexible ones.
Inflatable boards use "dropstitch" PVC—two layers of fiber-reinforced PVC connected by vertical threads of equal length, creating flat top and bottom surfaces. Board shape comes from sidewall design and slight top/bottom layer length differences.
Three main dropstitch technologies exist:
- Single layer (SL): Basic and affordable, ideal for light recreational use
- Double layer: Enhanced with extra PVC laminate—heavier but much stiffer and more durable
- Fusion Composite Dropstitch (FCD): Premium construction with more fibers and less PVC/glue, creating lighter, stiffer, and highly durable boards

Single Layer (SL) offers basic construction with standard vertical dropstitch fibers (18PSI capacity), single PVC sealant, and simple rail reinforcement—making it lighter and more affordable but less rigid.
Fusion Composite Dropstitch (FCD) features advanced integrated construction with multiple fiber layers fused directly to the shell, high-density vertical fibers (25PSI capacity), and woven high-tensile strength materials—delivering superior stiffness, durability, and puncture resistance with a rock-solid core.
